Privacy Policy

1. What we collect
When you use Viral & Famous we collect: your account details (name, email, city), the profile information you choose to share (bio, niche, rates, services, portfolio and social links), your bookings and reviews, and messages you send through the platform. Passwords are stored only as secure cryptographic hashes — nobody, including us, can read them.
2. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number never touches our servers. Videographers' identity and banking details for payouts are collected and held by Stripe under their own privacy policy. We store only references (such as booking amounts and payment status) needed to run the service.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to operate the marketplace: showing profiles to potential clients, connecting bookings, processing payments, displaying reviews and trust signals (such as completed bookings and totals spent), preventing fraud, and communicating with you about your account. We do not sell your personal information.
4. What other users see
Your public profile (name, city, bio, niche, socials, reviews, and aggregate platform stats) is visible to other users. Your email address is not shown to other users. Messages are visible only to the two participants of a booking.
5. Service providers
We rely on a small number of processors to run the platform: Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments and payouts), and Vercel (hosting). Each processes data only to provide their service to us.
6. Cookies
We use cookies solely to keep you signed in. We do not run third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
7. Your rights
You can view and edit your profile at any time, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (such as access, correction, portability, or erasure) which we will honor.
