Terms of Service

1. What Viral & Famous is (and isn't)

Viral & Famous is an online marketplace that connects content creators ("Creators") with independent videographers ("Videographers") for filming, editing, and social media services. Viral & Famous is a neutral venue only. We are not a party to any agreement between users, we do not employ Videographers, and we do not supervise, direct, or control their work. Videographers are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or representatives of Viral & Famous.

2. Payments must go through the platform

All bookings arranged through Viral & Famous must be paid through Viral & Famous. Soliciting, offering, or accepting payment outside the platform for a service arranged on the platform ("circumvention") is a violation of these Terms and may result in suspension or permanent removal of your account.

If you exchange money, services, or anything of value outside the platform, you do so entirely at your own risk. Viral & Famous provides no payment protection, dispute resolution, refunds, or support of any kind for off-platform transactions, and accepts no responsibility or liability for them.

3. In-person meetings and safety

Services booked through Viral & Famous may involve meeting in person. You are solely responsible for your own safety and belongings. We strongly recommend meeting in public places, telling someone where you are going, and reviewing the other party's profile, reviews, and verification status before meeting. Viral & Famous does not guarantee the identity, background, or conduct of any user and is not liable for any injury, loss, damage, or dispute arising from in-person interactions between users.

4. Fees

Joining Viral & Famous is free. When a booking is paid through the platform, Viral & Famous retains a service fee (currently a percentage of the booking total) and the remainder is paid out to the Videographer via our payment processor, Stripe. Fees are shown before payment and may change with notice.

5. Content and conduct

You are responsible for the content you post (profiles, portfolio links, messages, reviews) and for having the rights to any material you share or record. You agree not to use the platform for anything unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or infringing. Reviews must reflect genuine experiences. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Cancellations and disputes

Bookings may be cancelled by either party before payment. After payment, disputes between users should first be raised with the other party through platform messaging. Viral & Famous may, at its sole discretion, assist with disputes on platform payments, but is not obligated to mediate or refund.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Viral & Famous and its owner are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or personal injury, arising from your use of the platform or any interaction with other users. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the platform fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

8. Account termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, attempt circumvention, create risk for other users, or abuse the platform.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms as the platform evolves. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced on the site.
